OUR HISTORY
We originally opened our doors in Huntington Beach, California in 1994, as Faces Etc for clients and Huntington Academy of Permanent Cosmetics, a Permanent Cosmetics school, for students. We've seen thousands of clients and educated several hundred permanent cosmetics technicicans across the US and Canada over our 30 years in business.
Faces Etc relocated it's main location to Bend, Oregon in 2020, and have taken over clientele from one of the most well known Permanent Cosmetics Technicians in Central Oregon, Susan Gruber @ Permanent Makeup by Susan. We also have a second location in Tustin, California to continue to beautify our California clientelle.

YOur TECHNICIAN
Jeff Becker began his career in Permanent Cosmetics in 2000. As the Owner and Technician at Faces Etc, and a past Trainer at Huntington Academy of Permanent Cosmetics, his professionalism, attention to fine details, knowledge of color theory and mastery of hair simulation and growth patterns make his eyebrow designs a work of art. He also specializes in natural looking, whether lash enhancing or thicker wedged, eyeliner and blended lip liner or full color lips. Jeff is a perfectionist!
Jeff is certified in both Primary and Advanced techniques, Pigment Removal, Color Correction, Areola Re-pigmentation and Microblading. He holds his Oregon State License with the Board of Electrologists and Body Art Practitioners, is a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Technician in California, and has bloodborne and health certifications in both states.
PERMANENT COSMETICS
Permanent Cosmetics is also known as Cosmetic Tattooing, Permanent Make Up, Micropigmentation, Medical Tattooing or Microblading. There are no set terms for Permanent Cosmetics and you will see that when doing research to find a great technician. You will see other websites refer to Permanent Cosmetics as semi-permanent, this is incorrect. Whether done with a machine or a hand tool, it is considered tattooing. Pigment is inserted into the dermis layer of skin, the middle layer. All tattoos fade over time, and may disappear naturally over a long period of time.
Eyebrows being the most popular, followed by Eyeliner, Blended and Full Lips, Areola, Scar Camouflage, Scalp, Freckles and Beauty Marks. Waking up with makeup is widely popular, as it saves time and you always look ready to go! It doesn't run or wipe off. It is also popular among clients that are losing their sight with age or don't grow hair or have Alopecia.
When looking for a technician, be sure to do your research. You want someone who has the proper education at a reputable training school with mandatory hands on training. Someone with years of experience with great references. Look for the appropriate facility and body art licenses, bloodborne pathogen certifications and health licenses for their state. Some states are not regulated, some are very strict, so do your homework.
Our FACILITIES
We have been in our main location in Bend, Oregon since 2020. We're conveniently located on Highway 97 & Powers.
Our second location is in Tustin, California on Main Street in Old Town Tustin. We first opened Faces Etc in Huntington Beach, California in 1994.
